Child Safety Standards
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Chakam ("the app", "Chat Wrapped") is built by Kodeblooded ("we", "us"). This page states our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as required by Apple's App Store and Google Play.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sextortion, and trafficking of minors. This applies to any use of Chakam, without exception.
How Chakam is built to limit exposure
Chakam is a personal chat-analysis tool, not a social network or messaging service:
- Chakam has no accounts, no public profiles, and no way for one Chakam user to contact or discover another. There is no in-app messaging between strangers.
- The app only analyzes a chat export the user already has on their own device, between people the user already knows and already talked to on WhatsApp, Telegram, or another supported source — Chakam does not host, publish, or distribute that content anywhere.
- Most analysis happens entirely on-device. Where a small redacted sample or a screenshot is sent for AI processing (see our Privacy Policy for exactly what and when), that data is processed to generate the user's own report and is not stored, published, or made visible to anyone else.
If we become aware of CSAE content
If we become aware that any content processed through Chakam involves CSAM or CSAE, we will remove access to it, preserve evidence as required, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement, and cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.
Reporting a concern
If you believe Chakam has been used in connection with CSAM or CSAE, or you want to report a concern, contact us immediately at info@kodeblooded.com.ng. We treat every report seriously and respond promptly.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first. In the US, you can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
Age requirement
Chakam is not directed at children and isn't intended for use by anyone under the minimum age required by the app store the user downloaded it from. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Changes to this page
If our standards or process change, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
